To be honest I didn't find Goro funny at all, he seemed kinda annoying and cheesy...
I thought that that mad angel kinda bloke in green that swears all the time was funny
It depends on the situation your in with the characters...some characters could be funny but not mean to be (bumping into each other, you blocking them etc.).

my funniest character was at the harbour, he was actually a nobody,
whenever i spoke to him he always said "hey rookie ha ha work hard
make lots of money and buy stuff ha ha" he was a right dopey fucker.

Hard to say, I actually found Ryo quite funny at times.
But no one beats Ren though, not in S1 or S2, ever! lol

Tom is such a happy guy all the time, you can't help but laugh at him. Always dancing to that same song; christ the man sells hot dogs for a living! Hilarious ;)
