yeah training is great. That was one of my favorite parts about the first game. I liked to see how the moves progressed as you got them up higher. I wish they would have kept it in Shenmue II also

Yeah, they should have left it in... In Shenmue 1, you weren´t forced to train - so it couldn´t bother anyone...

Why did they take it out?

Maybe you would have gotten too strong?

Yeah and since there was no wait button then you could just train.

I thought training was annoying, boring and pointless. Why sit there practicing the same move numerous times over when you can beat most every opponent in the game by simply punching and kicking and/or button mashing?

I loved training, and didn't stop until all of the moves (except throws) were maxed out. :)

I dont see how anyone could say they DIDNT want it. You can train, or you dont have to. I loved it, and dont understand why it was taken out.

I to think it should have stayed instead moves get more and more powerfull far quicker and moves that are really powerfull such as machine fist and twin palm waves can be bought

Sounds like I should give up trying to max out my throws.

I didn't mind it being there, if you had to wait for somet you could just train, I enjoyed it actually :D
Besides, as Lan DC pointed out, it's an option, you don't have too.

I remember I think it was my 3rd or 4th time completeing Shenmue and I maxed most the moves out it was really sad though I mean I spent actual hours of my life on the pit blow lol.
