Extracting music

Is there a way to do this from the discs? I ask becuase I've searched high and low for DOWNLOADABLE songs from the game. I purchased the OST via ebay (not the Orchestra version, but the original) and most of the songs I was looking for were either altered or missing altogether.

Any ideas anyone? Or maybe links to download these great tunes?

LanDC ripped virtually every track from Shenmue I, and they were downloadable from the Dojo a while back. However, it seems there were issues with FilePlanet (the site hosting the files), and everything was transferred to YouTube.

Ziming mentioned a possibility of the tracks being re-hosted in the future, but given the magnitude of the total soundtrack, I wouldn't expect that to happen for a while. If you really want them, Ziming might be able to help you out. Otherwise, I could send them to you (but I changed some track naming and reduced every track from about 192 KBPS to 128 KBPS).

I downloaded the whole lot from a link in someone's signature right here on this forum a few months ago. Unfortunately I have no idea who's signature it was and nor do I have the link. :(
