Corey Marshal and Paul Lucas are the best two voice actors in the entire series. Brilliant talent.... Lan Di and Chai are voiced by the same guy.

Corey is not a brilliant nor awful VA,he is just decent but the editing job of his speech samples were not great plus I think Sega altered his voice for the series a bit if I remember right.
In the full story sequences he did just fine but most of the robotic sounding parts come from when he just read lines upon lines of script for reactions and was maybe not directed great.

The whole team that was in charge of the VO's from hiring to directing was poor,Corey was one of the better people they had and did not to shabby for what he worked with.

I agree, the way Ryo's voice in the english version is well synced with how he acts visually.

Ryo's VA is amongst the best in the series though if you ask me (of the english versions of course), not that that's saying alot as the rest of the VA'ing is some the corniest I've ever heard.

I've never had a problem with any of the main supporting characters, actually. Ren, Joy and even Wong, (who seems to get most complained about) all sound fine to me. Most of the problems are from minor characters in the story (Yellow Head gangs, streetfighters etc) but they're exactly what they're supposed to be, minor characters.

I also feel like it fits the character. I just can't picture anyone else voicing Ryo. That's why playing the Japanese version seems too weird and not playable to me. His "narration" or whatever you want to call it contributes to the awesome vibe this game has.
