The thing which makes it look shit is that the lighting is too intense, giving it a kind of 'Wolfenstein 3D one shade of lightness anywhere' vibe. Also, I had the same thought as well, Mittz. The guy could have at least recreated Yamanose or something before showing. He could definitely at least gotten his lighting right.

I hope Peter will not mind me replying to you since you make it so personal.

I won't debate about my own 'grasp of the English language', but I can say that you don't understand anything I'm saying not because of language barriers. It's because you are basing your entire rationalization of reality on wrong a priori assertions and negativism towards other people. You assumed I think you're against gay marriage when I only stated that I'm disliking what you said on the topic of gay marriage - I actually didn't like the way you approach the topic of gay marraige, how you degrade it with your parochial understanding of society and your vulgar way of approaching the matter of adoption by married gay couples. It's a sign of a pseudo-intellectual individual to make such simplifications and to assume things based on an overblown ego that leads the said individual to spiteful harangues.

I can't remember exactly as it has been 2 years since I last played but I think it might be before you try and purchase the ticket for the first time, when they rip you off

Possibly somewhat off-topic, but why don't we actually start creating our own game? I've seen numerous topics on the subject over the last 10 years, but no one has actually pulled the trigger. I feel with the advancement of modern day engines and the current pool of dojo talent surrounding modelling / texturing, surely we should be able to come up with SOMETHING (I'm not saying it will be brilliant, and the scope would have to be REALISTIC).

I could always start a github repo just to light a fire.

I don't really care what Engine we use, but anything cpp / java based would be fine with me. It seems you guys know more about what engines make sense than I do as I've only ever messed around with Unity and Source.

unity would work fine it's just that we are too little to make it, with our current numbers it would take way too much work for us to handle, if we could somehow find more volunteers who are willing to invest a significant amount of time in to the project then with good direction it could be done
