Dreamcast Emulators?

Hello. I know that this has probably been posted a lot around here, but I just can't seem to find my way around this place well enough the find them.

My question is about Dreamcast Emulators, and which one would be best for the first Shenmue. I've heard about the NullDC, but I really have no idea how I would go about setting it up and if that's even still the best emulator for Shenmue. If you need my laptop's specifications then I'll go on and post those too.

Any help would be appreciated. If this works out, I might finally get to play Shenmue for the first time.

Thank you both for the help. Took me a bit(not the smartest with computers) to finally get it but it worked. That link sure did help a lot. Now that the emulator's sorted it's just a matter of actually getting Shenmue now. Any way I can get that apart from a cd?

Okay, here's the links for everything:

Please note that Shenmue II is Japanese voices w/English dub. And if any links are wrong or broken, just let me know and I'll fix them.

You're a saint! Thank you

Shenmue's the one I wanted. I've had the second Shenmue for a long time now and I had the sudden urge to play the first. Thanks again

I tried Nulldc and even bought a wired 360 pad to use for dreamcast games but for some reason the emulator thinks the "down" button is active and whenever I try to play soul calibur or shenmue it scrolls through the menu options constantly with no input from me.

I remember watching a tutorial a few months ago. I think they mentioned something about increasing the "deadzone" when that happens. Should be in the place where you change the controller commands.

Sorry for even more questions, but I'd just like to be sure on this. Would you think an intel HD graphics 4000 chip could support this?

And @ MiTT3NZ- How effective is that game booster? Would it work better than something like say Razor game booster?

Absolutely. Though the intel HD 4000 may only be an integrated video chipset, it can play even some modern games on low settings. Dreamcast games should be cake.

MiTT3NZ, thank you for the links that you have posted. I have downloaded Shenmue II's 1-3 parts and I played (in nullDC 1.0.4, the one that you provided in the above links) the 1st part, but I noticed that a lot of free quests voices are not included (that is, you can not hear the voice of many NPCs, including Ryo's when he is talking to them). So, my question is: do you happen to have/know any version of Shenmue II, in which nothing has been removed from the original? I could try to find and download some from here and there in the internet, but my connection is not really fast and would be good if I will save some time from trying. Thanks in advance!

I've not had any issues with it, personally. Maybe it has something to do with your setup? Try tinkering with the options on the version of nullDC you're using (I'd suggest using the most recent one)

(I am in doubts if you are talking to me, but:)
I tinkered in nullDC 1.0.4 (I use the nullDC version you provided in the above links) everything related to sound (and not only), but the problem (that is, to not hear any voice from a lot of NPCs and from Ryo when he is talking to them) still occurs. Uh... I hope I wouldn't have to try every Shenmue II .iso I will find on the internet, till I find the right one...

Here is another rip of Shenmue II for download. It's Japanese with English subtitles.
