i just realized that one of your fellow workers and the guy who is always at the front in the forklift race is Hiroaki Takeuchi. they use his real name for the character in the game

I read somewhere Kenji Miyawaki too but I think it's a mistake.

Kenji Miyawaki indeed appears in both Shenmue I and II with different names from his own.

You can see other big shots with their real names in the first game; Akira Nagai, Susumu Aketagawa.

one of the security guards that throws the old homeless man out of the warehouse 14 has the same voice as Ren (Eric Kelso)

Also in shenmue 2 near ruined water tower (structure right between stand qr and dimsum qr kowoon, there are 2 young people in punk rock clothing talking. the girl has a very similar voice to xiuying only a bit livelier so i'm pretty sure that she is voiced by Lisle Wilkerson.
