holy crap, so i was just at the constructing site when the charlie fight happened, i decided to keep losing on purpose like 10 times just to kinda practice throws, and after some tries, my lifebar wont go down, im invincible, i have a video of it if someone needs evidence (offscreen tho). Is this some weird glitch?? so weird.....

its funny, over the past 12+ years I have posted here pretty much daily, and for the past 7-8 of those years I would bring up the Dojo and not even think about Shenmue, even with it right in front of my face. It was like it was natural to come here and post and mainly keep in the non-Shenmue forums because of all the previous discussions I did partake over the first few years. We covered all the topics, beat the dead horse and eventually the Shenmue forums were more or less a barren waste land, and there was a lack of real news, and I basically did that for years, until this year. Now I get to come here and actually talk about Shenmue again, it was actually starting to feel like old times again for a while there, and the excitement that I know that is coming again once Shenmue III comes out. I cant wait to see how this place will be once that happens, I guess the dojo is a nostalgia thing for me that is connected to my love for Shenmue. I cant even begin to explain how much the announcement of Shenmue III has been a blessing.

The fact I don't have a clue what any of it says makes it all the more wonderful. It's like a continuous wave of raw excitement

No matter how many articles I read, or how many times I watch the GT Sony stream in bed at 2am, I still sometimes can't believe that Shenmue 3 is a reality. Just can't. Just refuse to believe sometimes that over the course of the next 2 years, we will hear news, see screenshot and watch videos.


Life doesn't offer many truly mind blowing circumstances. But this will always be the biggest one I feel I will ever experience.

It absolutely didn't feel real at first - it was one of the very few times I've had what felt like an out-of-body experience - but it's completely settled now, and it feels very, very real just like any other game I'm looking forward to, albeit one with such a special feeling attached to it.

Now to play the waiting game 'til the real game we're all waiting for
