Meaning it won't work or the quality will be bad?

If it works at all, odds are it'll look shitty.

You'll try to convince yourself at first that it's good, but the reality will settle in that you wasted your money because the temptation to save some cash overwhelmed your better judgement.

Believe me, it's happened to me a lot.

That being said, I genuinely hope this doesn't happen to you. That moment sucks.

Yeah please let us know how it goes, I been meaning to buy one of these for mine. I have a 36 inch CRT TV and using a RF adapter lol. I already have the retrobit VGA box and it looks great on my 20 inch widescreen Acer monitor.

Yeah yeah, I know, but I been playing on PC a lot for the past year since I built my new gaming PC.

Here are some images from it. The close ups are really good and the environment can get pixelated. Overall, I'm happy with the results.

It's not bad for a 1080p scale up from 640x480.

Seems okay from the shots.

I suggest setting your TV to 4:3 so it doesn't stretch.

Without capturing the footage, it's impossible to be sure.

But if you're happy with it, that's all that matters my friend.

Yeah I might switch to 4:3. It was much clearer.

Just between VGA and the VGA to HDMI adapter?

There is a slight improvement via the HDMI adapter.

The benefits basically come to those who either don't have a VGA port on their TV of choice (but do have an HDMI port) or those who wish the capture the footage in the highest quality.

Aye, so basically a vga is perfectly fine since my tv has one fortunately. Is there a huge improvement in terms of picture from composite to vga? Does it depend on the tv you have?

The difference is huge.
But you'll need a 80' 4K TV to notice..sorry bro.
You'll have to settle with just "awesome" on anything else.

I mean the extra converters and cables was around $60 total which is on par with buying a new game for ps3. So it wasn't awful.

I know I shouldn't be dumping a questions that may be off topic on threads, but I need to find out.
Is their any good CRT HDTV's on the market. I have a CRT monitor thats 1280 by 1024 but a proper nice HDTV would be brilliant. I heard a few where made at the very start of the flat-screen era. Anyone know any?
