It's only a problem if you consider a game to be simply a means to occupy your time. For me, entertainment isn't measured in hours. One of my favorite games is To the Moon, which only takes about 3-4 hours to play through, but stayed with me for much longer. Beyond: Two Souls might - and I stress might - be such a well written or designed game that its 10 hours are worth 40 hours of most other games. Time, and reviews, will tell.

He's been tired of people asking him for years now, can't really blame him. Shenmue is his masterpiece and his curse, and it haunts him everywhere he goes. Just because he's tired of people asking him, it doesn't mean he doesn't still want to make it. he's probably just tired of people asking questions he has no answer for except the usual set of automated answers he has in stock.

To him it's probably like an actor from a popular show constantly having his catchphrase hollered at him or being asked to say it while he's in line at the post office and the bank and the gas station. It doesn't mean the actor begrudges the show and doesn't want to make any more seasons, it's just wearying having the same interactions over and over wherever he goes. Fortunately when Yu does speak about Shenmue III, it's always with hope and determination, not disinterest and resignation.

I dunno, im losing all hope in any Shenmue titles. We now no Shenmue HD anit going to happen and obviously there will be no Shenmue 3. Maybe we will have to settle for that damn manga or novel.
