You need to beat Hang On and Space Harrier for the certificates. The miniatures are for reaching a certain score.

I see; I've gotten the miniatures from Excite QTE, QTE Title and darts, but not with Hang On and Space Harrier, so I wouldn't know.

In shenmue 2 I have the Outrun certificate. Afterburner is almost imposible.

I have finally got these disgusting things in shenmue 1
