Is it true that Ryo once spoke about his bandage?

I remember it being mentioned a couple times that at some point in Chapter 1, Ryo once spoke to Gui Zhang briefly about the bandage under his eye. Something about an accident with a sword. I never witnessed this myself, but I remember it being mentioned by a few folks here. Is there any truth to it? Or was it made up? If it's true is there any link to hear the dialogue?

Ryo actually tells Tom ( at the docks) that it is a scar from his Melanoma...Remember this is Japan in the 80's and the Nuke's had just dropped 1 maybe 2 weeks before the start of the game.

Tom went back to the states in what 1986? Just in time for the emergence Crack-cocaine. Guarantee his astute, business oriented mind took big time advantage of that. Soon everyone in New York was lining up for Tom's "Hot Dogs". Until the Feds rico'd him and he's still serving out his sentence in Rikers island prison to this day. He should of stuck with hot dogs in Yokosuka imo

Close. It was actually Ryo's boss Mark that did that. Kind of like a witness protection thing after he testified in court against several Mad Angels members

Tom the hotdog guy: you can use his radio to bang out flower girl to your heart's content but the moment you start looking for a freebie weiner that's where he draws the line.
