Have you ever acted like Ryo in real life?

Do you often wear blue jeans and a white tee?
Do you reply to people with "I see"?
When you buy items at a store to you put your items on the counter and say "This"?
Do you sometimes see obstacles you need to avoid and hear a QTE beeping sound in your head?
I find it hard to believe that Ryo's behavior hasn't rubbed off on us to an extent.

I have an odd feeling half of the dojo is very ryo-esque in their ability to awkwardly avoid blatant female advances in favor of playing arcade games. Just a hunch though

Ryo inspired me to carry a notebook with me everywhere I went back in the day. Quite sensible compared to some of the things one could have been inspired to do, I think.

I do these all the time, but I think I did even before I got into Shenmue.

I like to act like Ryo when I ride elevators. Entering and pressing the button as if it were Kowloon.

I try my best to not sound like Ryo when I say "Excuse me" on buses.

I always slowly glide my static finger over the various buttons until I make my selection.
Same as pressing buttons on a soda machine.

I act like Ryo constantly. I move as stiffly as Ryo; I reply to everything as Ryo might; I set up a sensor to start playing the Hazuki Residence music in my apartment when I walk through my front door; I often wear blue jeans with a white t-shirt (I am wearing them right now); and anytime my girlfriend says anything to me, I just stare straight ahead and say, "Nozomi."

I do the "static finger" thing on all kinds of control panels. And I say the monotone "Yeah" sometimes when speaking English (I just love that Corey Marshall "Yeah."). And I usually crouch the same way Ryo does. And what else? Well, I got that Ryo jacket and I wear it, although it's not the real leather one but the one from insert Coin. But I don't have any light blue jeans though.
