I saw people posting such on Youtube, So came here to double check, this is legit?


What I find weird though, is why It's owned by Sega of Europe, and not Sega of Japan(although then again, this is Sega we're talking about here, internal fighting between regions is nothing new for Sega).


One would hope this means rereleases, but anyone can get a domain name, so I'll believe it when they stop making excuses like lic, and actually announce they are making such.

The most passionate Shenmue fans are in Europe, so the decision makers are.

Considering the last 10-year situation, I assume Sega Europe has become as influential as Sega Japan now.

We don't know anything for sure yet. Best course of action is to wait for SEGA to make an official announcement within the next few days/weeks (unless they're waiting for a surprise E3 2017 annoucement) or some credible sources to emerge.

One fact we can't ignore, though, is that a real life games store, albeit a relatively obsure Slovakian one, is confidently taking €50 off its customers for pre-orders of the HD games.

If this is nothing more than a publicity stunt, then taking money off customers for a game that hasn't been officially confirmed is risky business - if not illegal.

I've just tried adding the game to cart to see if they're actually taking money off people, and they're definitely wanting some card details to process the order. Whether they actually charge the card or not, is anyone's guess. I won't be finding out!

Interesting that it's:

- Also a Slovakian site EDIT: NVM, it's the same Slovakian website
- It's very specific, got the date already pinned (14th of April), the age certification, and the price.
