Shenmue 1 Start of Game Flowchart | Early Design Document
Posted: Sun Apr 08, 2018 1:52 amI've translated another early design diagram extracted from the 1998 Shenmue art book, and this one relates to the very start of game play in Shenmue I.
There is no Ine-san mentioned and instead (somewhat optimistically) it is Fuku-san who has been taking care of Ryo for the whole week that he has been in bed. There are also several other interesting differences compared to the final version of the game.
