Shenmue Dojo

Where can I find out about the back stories of all the characters in Shenmue? I was listening to the Shenmue Podcast, and the information they had about some of the minor characters was amazing!

I'm living in Japan, so if there is a Japanese book with the info in, all the better

Do you know where the information was originally published? I fancy getting a physical copy to add to my collection. Would it have come out in a Shenmue Guide Book?





I think I've found the book with the character info.

All this information on characters was also on the Shenmue Passport disc, but online content, you can technically still access it, but it's a bit tricky

One of the Shenmue strategy guides actually had biographies for all of the characters. I'm not sure if the link from the Dojo has the same information.

Just to confirm, I bought the above guide, and it does give character profiles.

Just noticed that people are selling the above guide on Amazon Japan for $917 USD! Maybe now's the time to get those guide books before the prices sky rocket.
