My first ever post on the Dojo, dated January 7th, 2006:
Hey, i'm new 2 these forums so I thought that i'd better get started ASAP, which I did.
By now everybody has seen the picture of the four Chi You Men leaders, most of which are blanked out but you can make three of them out easily:
I can't seem to add the picture of the leaders so could somebody post in their post ? It would help.
The one in the middle is obviously Lan Di, the one next to him who is blacked out is Ziming Hong, the one who has her legs showing is Niao Sun, but the one on the left of Lan Di is unknown, so lets give suggestions and get the ball rolling.
My last ever post on the Dojo, which will be this very one, dated July 26th, 2018:

knowing that these forums will be closing has made me realise I've become weirdly attached to them. I don't post nearly as much as I used to, but logging in to see what's new on the forums had become part of my daily routine over the past 6 years and it will be odd to not see this interface anymore. It's a shame that these forums need to be completely scrapped instead of upgraded but I suppose we can't get everything we want in life. Having met some of you and having others on facebook, this place has felt like a community for me over the past 6 years and I hope that community will carry on to the new website.
That being said, I'm looking forward to see what the new website looks like and see it grow in this new era for shenmue.

It'll be sad to see the old dojo go, but I'm happy that it's changing. I hope it all goes well!

Don't do it! How I remember you from back in the day. Although I'm one to talk, I totally changed mine when I came back last month haha

These forums were great. Though I didn’t sign up until fairly recently, I lurked for many years. I’m sort of getting flashbacks of when the old Nintendo NSider forums closed. Ah well. See you all on the new site!

I wish we had a takeback. Id give anything for 24 more hours.
To be open, i cannot 100% say that the history section will be complete before tomorrow. I am working as fast as i can, but how far i get is unknown at this point. Blame 2003.

I'm slightly irritated that I won't get on the last word. If I wasn't at a wedding I'd be sat in a pair of unwashed y-fronts hunched over in front of my computer all day constantly posting bollocks to make sure I did it.
So basically going back to how I was a few years back.

Ive been lurking here for years and only recently joined. I'm excited for the new site as this one is hardly functional due to its old age (every time I try to post it just errors out and I have to go back and hope it went through).
One thing I hope is retained in the new site is the wealth of historical Shenmue content. There's a lot of great information and pictures from Shenmues long development, discoveries of leftover data from the retail games, since the site is so old there's a lot of valuable things in those departments. As someone who regularly contributes to TCRF and is big on games preservation this is what's most important to me about this site.
