Exactly my feelings, but you have to get through it because After the job is when the better QTE's happen and cutscrenes.

are you guys crazy! the fork lift's are so great. i love em. ive playn through the whole game just to get to play with the fork lifts.

he racing is fun dont get me wrong, but The work gets boring, it was fun the first couple of times I went through the game but more and more times you beat it the longer it seems to drag on...

Pro-forklifter here. He's doing piecework, which if you have the right attitude, becomes like a game! I've done piecework, and I found it more interesting to see how to maximise the throughput - timing myself to estimate how many I can do in a day, strategies for cutting off the smallest corner to save a bit of time. All of this is made part of a game in the forklift driving. And I too made huge stacks of cash (in Shenmue, that is!) and spent it on, well, Darts and HangOn. And then when I went onto Shenmue II I had to buy stacks of toys so that I didn't hand over Y42,000 to Wong, Sam and Larry!

The first couple times you play through Shenmue it isn't too bad, but after the second time it just drags on, and on, and on, and on...... forever......

Every time I want to play some Shenmue, I have to drive the fork lifts around for an hour before I actually get to play. :(

I enjoy the forklift. Doing that routine allows for some quiet reflection when just wandering around on foot as Ryo isn't enough

How could you dislike the forklift work in any way? It's one of the best parts of Shenmue I, and the whole Mad Angel thing is a result of it... so cheer up!
