Kyodai, can you not use the renderers program to cast its own shadows on the scene? Also, granted the textures aren't going to be top notch but can you not improve them somehow in photoshop? Perhaps sharpen them up a bit then import them back in? Or replace them entirely? Regardless your edited scene for Shenhua's house is really nice.

Am also digging the one with the tree. Looks very concept art like.

I am planning on creating a few posters for my apartment from scenic images of locations from Shenmue (1) such as Sakuragaoka, Yamanose, Dobuita, and Yokosuka, however I'm having trouble finding some high quality shots. Does anyone know where I can find some high resolution images?

I'm looking to do a collection of a few high-def images to hang up in my apartment. Do you have any images of simple scenic/city landcapes from Shenmue I, like sakuragaoka, yamanose (shrine, etc), dobuita?

Might do some more Shenmue 1 stuff when i got the time, currently a tad busy as i just got a new job. I make these by just ripping the scenes from nulldc with 3D ripper dx and then export them as 3ds in max 7 and then import into Vue 6. I made a video tutorial on youtube, search like for shenmue 3d ripper or so.

Shadows are rendered in Vue 6 infinite, but textures from S1 and S2 are generally poor. Already using bicubic anti-aliasing but it cant create detail where there is none. I thought about replacing textures, but its a hell of a lot of work and some are pretty unique.
