Actually just testing animated water in Vue 6. Youtube kinda ruined the video quality but oh well..

Looks good to me. I especially liked the light shimmering over the water. Pretty cool effect.

Love it. Shenmue is why I have wanted a Koi pond ever since. That deer scare is one of the most relaxing sounds to me in Shenmue.

Yeah a Shishi O-doshi, typical for japanese gardens. A water-powered deer scare. Well today there's not that much deer left in most gardens, but it's still popular as a traditional japanese garden accessory.

I always loved that little device (both in Shenmue and in general) but up until this point I never actually knew what it was called. So thanks for that info! Next step: Procuring one for my water garden. Which I also don't have. I admit, it's not a logical step, akin to buying pool floats before actually getting the pool. C'est la vie.

Also, in regard to the focus of this topic, the animation looks EXCELLENT. Very good job.
