I'm currently working on the final phase of putting together a couple of videos with multiple rare, funny or otherwise interesting scenes and also other videos about Shenmue.

I'll start with what I've already uploaded in the past. Some of those are really old, starting in 2008.
This topic will house every Shenmue related video that I've made from now on.

Sure, why not. I'm doing these for the community and the further I can reach out with them, the happier I am!

Speaking of Fuku-san, here's the first real video of the series with a few more easily missed Fuku-san scenes.
I never knew about the first one until my recent notebook run. Pretty obscure but nice.

bluemue, is that move you use against fukusan the advanced form of Arm break fire? i have never actually ever managed to level that move up.

for it to take that form do you just have to train it up to intermediate level, or is advanced needed ?

also do you know whether the advanced form of arm break fire carries over to shenmue 2 if you use a shen 1 save file with it leveled up. or does it revert back to its initial form like some of the other moves do?

i know the default save file to shenmue 2 only has arm break fire at standard level, and even if you level it fully in shen 2 the form never changes.

@johnvivant: No the Arm Break Fire in the video is leveled well under moderate. It's just the full version of the move. Once the enemy is grabbed you have to press X for the first armlock extension and then X+A for the second one on the ground, both with the right timing. I have trained it to moderate in that playthrough but despite the description implying that it changes I didn't notice any visual differences.

i think you can also do something similar in shenmue 2 with the 'monkey roll' throw which can transition into arm break fire like holds. do you happen to know the button combination for that?

there is a video of someone on youtube doing it, just type in monkey roll and arm break fire, shenmue 2 - it should come up

i read many shenmue move list faqs and they never mention this!

also i only figured out just recently that you can use a swallow dive finisher at the end of Machine Gun fist, just like in the final qte with baihu. just tap A immediatly after f,f B.

are there any really good free battle faqs which you could recommend?

just answered my own question.
the monkey roll drop transitions into arm break holds with exactly the same button combination as normal arm break fire -
X, followed by X+A

there seems to be a good guide by Mickaleen678

i was using incomplete move list guide for years!

@johnvivant: Yeah I know that move compilation video. That's where I learned how to execute the Arm Break Fire correctly. No one else ever mentions how it works and the game leaves you completely in the dark aswell.

The next video does in fact have the raffle in it. Not all of the wins, but the interesting ones except for the S price at the Abe store. I didn't have the patience, even with quicksaving I gave up. Never ever won that price at all...

The next video will be the final upload of what I've recorded in Shenmue. It's MASSIVE, so look forward to it!
Maybe I'll do something like this with Shenmue II at one point. The thing is that's going to be an absolutely huge project as there is sooo many stuff in Shenmue II to show.

I personally didn't knew everything prior to recording all this footage. I read about some things, used input from my recent notebook run and stumbled upon the stuff in the basement by accident while I was recording.
