More Fangmei Action! I couldn't find this cutscene so I guess it hasn't been uploaded until now, as surprising as it is.





By the way. The Fangmei conversation video is taking longer then planned because I ran into problems making her talk and had to start over.

How do you trigger this cut scene?

Just don't gather any information about Yuanda Zhu and the next morning you'll get this cutscene as a "hint" about the Wulinshu.

Do you need to improve the relationship with Fangmei beforehand in order that scene to be triggered?

No, you don't need to talk to her at all. Remember, it's the very first day where you have to carry the books that you have to spend doing nothing to advance the story.

I'm finally done with this. I hope you enjoy it, it surely took a lot of time to make this.



The English edition here is even more packed then the original Japanese one.
It has 16 additional answers that you get from pressing the B button when the action selector is open. The three generic conversations are in here aswell. But overall it's only 3 minutes longer because I streamlined the scene changes and removed the constant "Hazuki-san! - Hm?" at the beginning of the questions. Also makes it more pleasant to watch.

I'm on a roll here...... Today I've got three new videos, all about nightfalls.







The one from Shenmue was a really easy job thanks to the Debug Beta and the ability to speed up the time.
One of my saves is on December 24th and so I was able to easily get snow. So I made a snowy edition aswell.

The one from Shenmue II took a lot more time. There are a lot more areas then I thought, there are 27 different nightfall scene! I recorded these from the Xbox version because I felt that the bloom enhances the mood.

You're missing the nightfall scene in Guilin. I'm sure it happens when you outside Shenhua's house at 7pm.

Here is Shenmue II's prologue in 2160p 4K. This one turned out better then the one from the first game.
There are much less glitches destracting from the experience.



@Ziming: Well I've quickly looked into it before I made the video and the moment it hits 7 p.m. at Shenhua's house the game triggers the cutscene in the kitchen where they eat. I am aware that there is a really short shot of the house but it's still part of this story cutscene so I didn't feel the need to include it as I don't think it "counts".

Went back to this particular scene again. The English dub makes it even more goofy.

Here's a side by side video with the two different camera angles that you can get for one particular scene while you have to follow Yuan.

I found out about a new cutscene after seeing Ziming's video with the music of it. It's a short but neat one.
And I can't say this often enough: It's so awesome to discover something that you've never seen before!

I finally got my Kuro VGA box fixed so I'm back in business and started a project I've been planning to do for a while.

It's a new series that's going to show what's in all the rooms in all the building in Kowloon. I've started with the Great View Building. There isn't a lot to see there but take it as just a "teaser" to how the videos are going to be.
