There was an italian lady who contacted us back in 2014, on the Facebook ShenmueSubs page, who asked for the Japanese texts to do a JP->IT translation. Her name was Andrea. See if you can contact with her, if she's out, you can contact me in FB as well.

Hi there, it's me, Andrea! I am still interested in this project. But last time I tried I wasn't able to run my translation on the dreamcast, unfortunately the game didn't boot correctly. I think I'll try again soon; if anybody would like to help me with the process please contact me!

What version of Windows is this patcher for? I am trying to patch my copy right now but on Windows 10 64-bit it is refusing to start the app. Windows throws up an error message saying that it will not work for this version of windows.

I can confirm it works ok for me on 64-bit Windows 10 Home (for patcher version 1.0.4).

Hey Switch, thanks for confirming that for me!

I got up today and tried it again and it still did not work. So I turned off DEP, thinking it might be blocking it and it still did not work. Disabled a number of other things, rebooted, still no good. I then just re-downloaded the archive and it works great... so clearly something funky happened the first time it was downloaded. Problem resolved!

Thank you for the great work done within this project. I'm loving Shenmue still in 2017 and it deserves the love and attention you all provide it here.

Thank you for your feedback on behalf of all the project team members! I know everyone put in a lot of effort to make it happen.

Hi SysopGrace, I'm sorry to hear that. There's been some trouble with some other patchers from PacoChan in specific Windows 10 configurations that we haven't been able to clarify. Maybe something you did when you changed those things actually fixed that, but for now, the only advice we can give is to try the patcher in another computer, for anyone else who reads this.

Last time I've heard (And it was some time ago), the fellows from ShenmueMaster actually asked for the sources (And we sent them the stuff), but wanted to deliver the patch on their own. I guess they're busy with the Shenmue I french translation.
