Update 2! Video 2 on The Harbor!

Hi Everyone.

I recently went to Japan for vacation/business and decided to take a trip to Yokosuka for some research.

Big thanks to Switch for showing me around

We took many photos of The Harbor and Dobuita Street which you can find below! We took lots of video footage too which will be uploaded at a later time to my Youtube channel.

It is amazing that even in 2017, Shenmue still is an accurate representation of Dobuita Street!

It was great to meet up. Hope that training you did in the Dobuita St parking lot has helped you to "level up" your martial art moves.

Thanks! I hope to go to Xi'an next! I suspect that area might be important in the later games so I hope to check it out sooner than later.

Just wanted to say thanks very much for sharing your pics. I always love seeing real life locations used as inspiration for the Shenmue series which has inspired so many people. I'd love to visit myself one day but who knows, maybe. Thanks again and best wishes!

I went to Japan for my first time recently. I could not tell you all the places by name, but there were a few rural areas where I could of sworn Shenmue was modeled after. But I do not believe it was where you went though. Perhaps next time I shall and walk down the street in a leather jacket and blue jeans with a band aid on my face... If only I could talk my girl into dressing like Nozomi... Ahhh... she would kill me if she had to wear that short skirt out in public... Perhaps as Lan Di then...
