It really depends on my mood. I'm not sure how that works, though. There are some days when I prefer to hear a Japanese voice, so I pop in my PAL Shenmue II. There are some days when I prefer to hear an English voice, so I pop in Shenmue. (I don't have the Xbox version of Shenmue II.)

English dubbing for me.

I can get involved in the game a hell of a lot more as I can really feel the emotions better. Having to read the subtitles all the time is annoying as well. Oh and Corey Marshall rocks!

Agreed! I too prefer the English Dub for those very reasons.

And the fact that I hate it when games/tv series change the actors.

If the game had continued in Japanese, I would feel like that.

I prefer the voices to be in Japanese. If Yu Suzuki/Sega decided that they'd rather continue the rest of the series in English, though, I wouldn't mind. The North American voice-actors do a terrific job.

English, of course!

What's the sense of listening to the Japanese dub if you have no idea what's being said?

English, probably. The voice acting doesn't seem nearly as bad if you turn off the subtitles.

the voice acting is some of the worst I have seen.. but it makes sense via how huge and how many people the game has in it... I wouldnt wanna pay that much for good voice actors if i could get cheaper ones... so yeah Japanese reigns over english... now question about it besides I like going through Shenmue as Yu Suzuki originally wanted it to be heard but I ma used to japanese cause of all the anime I watch... ;)
