Favorite area in Shenmue II?

I love Guilin's Scenery but I love to walk around in wan chai.

yeah, the talking with Shenhua is very interesting. It gives you an idea of all the things you are going to see in further sequels... I can't wait to visit all of those villages. like bailu Village, Miao Village, and more. I like those places. Ive seen alot of those places in alot of old kung fu movies. But the best part about Shenmue is. That you will have the freedom to interact with people and explore the entire village. Hmm... I wonder if this time you are going to be aloud to go inside the houses.

Whenever I would go back to Shenmue 2. I will only play from Disc 4. Because I just love the way the story unfolds from there on. And like you said Beck just watching the scenery. The background is really nice.
