Dont worry about getting these moves guys. As you say they are near impossible to get - I did get them but its on a par with getting the 'bad' ending- it's a serious trial on your patience!

The heel sweep is one of those no power leg moves and the monkey roll drop is extremely hard to use in combat.

they aren't so impossible to get.
even though you need a lot of attempts, i suugest you to put the ball on the center and move it slighlty on the right(just a LITTLE bit).
doing this i mamanged to get the scrolls after a while(1 hour )

yeah about 1 hour to me
it can get very annoying.but since it's shenmue....

ya i know, who can honestly say that they have gotten bored with shenmue. to be honest im yet to lose interest in it and ive played through about 4 times now

Played through Shenmue I nine times, and yearn to play it again to this day (Dreamcast's busted) - good point.

i wanted shenmue1 on xbox so bad until some time ago...
after a while a bought a dc just to play shenmue1
i suggest you too
doing this you'll be able to finally play shenmue1 and a lot of marvelous games(dreamcast still rocks)
