Hi, I'm new to this site, and I have always been a huge fan of Shenmue, I even made a "Heavens" lighter, which i will be uploading a pic soon enough when I get back to Canada. But anyways, I just went to the Man Mo temple on Hollywood road in Hong Kong, I never knew it would be so accurate, and also, those long steps it took to get up to the temple was well worth it, even with the blisters i have from walking all day in hong kong.

I feel absolutely astonished to have seen this. Also, In Beijing there were paintings of a phoenix and dragon mirror in some temples, I will be uploading all these pictures when I get back to canada next week.

Friday I am off to Japan now, to go to Dobuita to see where Ryo's home town is...

Doing all this travelling to see the real life shenmue has really made me upset that Shenmue 3 hasnt been made yet, but i hope it will. ^__^

haha thank you all! Even got a diary with the dragon mirror on it. Wanted the phoenix mirror one, but they didnt have it :(

nono, they don't. but the diary i got just so happend to have a dragon mirror on it lol. i saw a painting of a phoenix and dragon mirror in a temple on the wall in Beijing though. I will upload pictures of that too~ oh a side note, how do i upload pics here? LOL

That's awesome! I plan to go within the next few months, I'll probably do a long weekend in Hong Kong. I hope to air out some books and receive a move scroll for my troubles

Dragon and pheonix imagery is really common here too, but I still get a kick out of seeing that sort of thing at temples and old palaces etc. You've probably been here if your name is DaeYoung though

By the way, did you get any information on Zhu's whereabouts?
