It is pretty funny when you speak to Jianmin for the first time.

Btw, it kinda does my head in when peeps say about the Japanese version. The voice acting in that one's probably as bad as the English dub, but we just don't realise.

Watching whole screen > Reading bottom of screen

I prefer the Japanese voices but the English ones are no way near as bad as some make out. Apart from Barny the dinosaur.

Yeah, his voice pisses me off, but English > Japanese. It just didn't feel like Shenmue when I first played it.

If they ever remake the series that needs to be changed. Get rid of the pointless left, left, right crap or get rid of the pointless job all together and open up the area we see forklifts in.

Hell fucking yes. I used to intentionally not progress through the story so I could drive the forklift every day. Hands down the best mini-game/money-earning section of a video game. Ever. And yet it got slated for it...

I loved it but wished the racing at the start of the day was optional after the first time simply cause it was too easy.

Would have been neat [not that it was hard to transfer all the crates before the day ended.

The Japanese voices were much better than the English in my opinion. My girlfriend got me the Limited Edition version of Shenmue for the DC. Same for Shenmue II, better in Japanese.

But i can still remember the rainy day in school and being told it was on the shelves down in Game. I left school early and ran all the way down to town to get it. Also remember that first night i played it, i went for a few pints in the local club and came home and worked the lucky hit stand at the bottom of the Come Over Guest House street and thought how amazing the game was.

Hang on... We got it on the Dreamcast a year earlier and you didn't get it then? The fuck's up with that "Ireland's biggest Shenmue fan"? You bring shame upon this dojo...

Agreed, although at least when you were airing out the books there was some nice music to listen too.

With crates you just had to listen to Delin grunting. Why would someone pay you to move crates a couple of feet apart anyways? :???: Maybe I thought too much into it.

I didn't mind airing out the books. I found it pretty relaxing. L Trigger on hold, release for steps, QTE, hold L Trigger, then QTE spaz attack!
