Never seen it myself. Vid title says its rare but sometimes people just put then sort of thing to get more views.




All i know is I'm in the mood to play the games again.

I heard about the move "What's shenmue" and heard it was played in a few cinemas in japan, Ive practically dedicated my time to looking for a 35mm reel of it.

I have never seen that, but it really does make you marvel at the sheer size of that damn game.

saw that before but can't remember where, maybe in the project Berkley disk :k

That is so-called "Senmue II Demo" which SEGA prepared a little before the actual game's release.
I remember seeing the video at a game store in Akihabara being played repeatedly to PR the game.
Also, SEGA let us rent the disc from a rental video chain for free, and naturally I rented it.

According to Master Kyodai, it was included in Fighting Vipers 2. Check out this post in another topic:

Also the demo is just a 5 minute self running movie, so you are better off watching old shenmue 2 clips on youtube. There was never any playable Shenmue 2 Demo on any system, neither in Japan nor anywhere else.

The duration of the video is less than four minutes, though, as you see on YouTube.

I have the disc and yes, it is exactly as you see it in the YouTube video. I don't have any other information about it, and it came to me in the standard jewel case you see here.

Peter, are you possibly thinking of one of the other demos here? These were recent pickups and I haven't gotten around to looking at them yet.

Yea thats the one i have. Its got a preforated cardboard seal which you pull to open. Its the middle.one i have.

Nice. I'm glad the person I got these from opened them from the back, so they didn't pull the tear strip.

Game looked so amazing back then.

Is that the same demos disc that is in each of those? Mines is in storage so i cant check.
