I think that is a really nice and more realistic model. They should have kept it in. I might try to acquire the Japanese version now. It's kind of a capsule toy collectible in itself.

How come, in the Xbox (US) version (compared to DC PAL), Xuiying's teeth are missing in the flashback-esque vision Ryo has of Xiuying, right when he defeats Dou Niu?

There are also posters with the Virgin and Child in Shenmue 1, in particular Dobuita.

Remember those. However I never tied it to Shenmue II as the images were too fuzzy to notice til now that it's the same.
There is a Madonna and Child Painting that has a UFO in it with a guy pointing at the saucer in the background.
