Shenmue 2 disc 1 not working

I recently got shenmue 2 the pal version for dreamcast.I have been playing it for a few days and while i was playing it today i failed a quicktime event so i turned my dreamcast off.I then put the boot disc back in to reload disc1 back up and the disc will not load.I tried the other 3 disc and they all load up at the boot disc screen.Has anyone ever had this problem before?

GD rom drives have a tendency to fail. They also do it in a wierd way. May load one disc but not another.Eventually none at all. First try and clean the lens with a lens cleaner. No luck still then try

Ok i used a lense cleaner it worked alittle bit but it only made the disc load more then usual.before i used the claner it loaded 5%.Now it loads 96%.I find it odd that the disc 1 has been working for a few days and now all of a sudden doesn't want to work.I have the same problem with my U.S copy of shenmue 1.The 3rd disc for that doesnt want to work so i had to burn the 3rd disc in order to finish the game.I guess i will try the instuctional video you posted

Allright the game finally loaded up but now when it does it says disc read error-30 title.gz.What does that mean?

Sorry i didn't update and reply sooner!The video really helped i fixed my dreamcast.I also just beat shenmue 2 this morning!
