shenmue 2 arcade game timer?

Hey I loved the firat shenmue and got the second one for xbox and was pleased to see even more arcade games, but the ingame time doesnt go down while u play them anymore! one of my dav parts of shenmue 1 was playing hangon until late, passing the ingame clock but now when I finish a game its the same time as when I started. is the Game also like this on the dc version? is there a mod to make the time tick in arcade gamea like shenmue 1? why would they remove this feature, it made the game more realistic...

It definitely made the game more realistic in Shenmue. Shenmue was designed to always run in real time though. You need exploration, toy collecting, arcade games and karate practicing to pass the time while you wait for certain people or events.

Shenmue II gives you the option to skip periods of time so you really don't need the clock to run anymore while you're "wasting" time.
