There was a huge debate about whether or not you see blood after the tree falls on her way back when this scene was discovered...

After breaking it down frame by frame for a few minutes...I'm pretty convinced that there's no blood. I'm pretty sure that's just a muddy texture from the tree.

I remember the discussions about the blood and if there is a way to get this cutscene or not.
It makes me think of the cutscenes when you fail too much during the long QTEs but those have something to do with rain.

This scene with the tree is definately a strange one. That random little earthquake taking down the tree seems really silly and awkward.

Okay to clear things up about the cutscene. It will be triggered when the clock hits 5 pm while you control Ryo looking for a path through the forest. I have it in a video together with the little cutscene before it that goes along with it, aswell as the similar cutscenes for the QTE segments.

WTH is this, Yu is a crafty one Isn't he(only Yu can make something as grand as Shenmue 2, and still have more then enough time before release, to put all these secrets in), 14 years later, and we're still finding out things we never knew about Shenmue 2.

On top of that, you people should be ashamed to be letting this happen to Shenhua of all people.
