I'm referring to the stand in Kowloon and I'm replaying that part. I just can't get that ball in that damn slot. Damn near impossible.

If you haven't already, you can take a look at both moves on YouTube and decide for yourself if it's worth the time and effort.

After trying for about three days, I stopped trying. I was disappointed that my moves scrolls list was incomplete but I after trying for so long the excitement of trying to win the scrolls went for me and I was just left feeling pretty angry lol.

I'd love it if there was some easy way of winning the scrolls but I don't think there is.

While Peter was preparing one of the finale streams for Shenmue II last year, me, Jibby, and SkillJim sat watching him stream playing this Lucky Hit table for 4+ hours with no success.

It's an absolute bastard.

I could never bring myself to get those move legitimately. It just requires way too much luck and thus time.
Only ever did it on old Demul with a quick save right before dropping the ball, moving it inch by inch until the drop would land.

So big congratulations on getting the damn thing! Make sure to check out that move video because one of the moves has an extension that is unexplained in game.

With Yu talking about rewarding players with move scrolls from minigames like lucky hit for Shenmue 3, i'm actually looking forward to potentially watching Peter go at it again for another 4+ hours :P #-o

And I just got the Monkey Roll Drop.

I just found the easiest possible way to win both scrolls.

Don't move Ryo's hand. Just drop the ball from the start and there's a fairly decent chance it'll land in the slot with the Move Scroll symbol on it.

Thing is, you have to get the ball down that center alignment of nails. Most often what I've noticed happens is near the end, the ball will hit the slanted row of nails right above it. There's gaps there that the ball can potentially fall through. If you are extremely lucky, the ball will fall through those gaps and land in the winning slot, OR it could have enough momentum to skirt the tops of the X to the left of it and land in the move scroll slot. It's still a game of chance, but it seems more likely to hit it by just not moving Ryo's hand.

It took me about 20 tries, but I got it. It took longer for me to get the Heel Sweep, but I was moving Ryo's hand. Never do that. Just drop it and cross your fingers.
