The random characters that wander around don't have profiles, unfortuantely :(
But even without them, it's still a heck of a lot of characters :P
I've never really studied the routines of the NPC's in Shenmue II. But it seems a lot of them stay out 24/7 and never go "home" or anything. It's nowhere near as sophisticated as Shenmue I, it'd seem.

You know almost every random character has names at least, don't you? :)

While "Perfect Guidebook" includes profiles of 615 characters, "Complete Guide"
shows 668 names. That's because "Complete Guide" includes 94 random NPCs,
I guess. But, some of them actually have profiles and are included in "Perfect
Guidebook." Apparently, this means there're 53 NPCs who have only names. ;)
(Still, it's not everybody, there're some who are not included in either guide.)

Yes, as you know, you can see many people, including kids, stay up all night,
when you play LanDC's mod save. If anyone hasn't tried it, check this out:

Hi, I'm new on these forums.
Playing Shenmue II yesterday though (I'm on my first run through) if you go up to the roof of the Tea break building (you can use the lift Dou Niu comes out of when he chases you) there's a cool NPC up there. On one of the bird stalls there's this girl with a t-shirt on which says 'RHCP' - was one of the developers a Red Hot Chili Peppers fan? Not sure if you have a profile on this person yet but it's cool all the same and even if you already know, I found it exciting :D

Also, that roof has the best music and is such a nice location at nighttime ;)

You mean the Three Birds Building, right? ;)
I believe the woman you're talking about is the owner of Pet Shop Birdy Birds, here's a link to her profile;

yeah, it is Three Birds, but it's easy to go into one building from another without noticing...

I think you should put a pic of her t-shirt on her profile too, just cos it's quite cool :D

your profiling is wicked though, great idea but a lot of work right?[/i]
