Shenmue II still profitable? Wal-Mart thinks so...

(Chapters 3-6)

I think the main problem the Shenmue series sold so poorly was because off the difficulty getting the game-the only place i got my shenmue I was on amazon second hand and I couldn't get the 2nd anywhere untill I saw the X-box version in a 2nd hand bin and bought it despite not owning an x-box but its good to hear about it selling again.

I know alot of people still know about it.

A few weeks ago, when I was playing Shenmue 2, one of my roomate's friends went up and said "Hey, is that Shenmue 2? I played the first one."

This is a guy i've seen play NBA STREET with my roomate all the time.

I have yet to meet someone who has played Shenmue, besides the 2 people I convinced to buy it. And the one kid who didn't like it when I let him borrow it. The bastard..

Tell them they have a buyer. Where is this place?

I wish i could tell my friends about shenmue, but sadly i know it would more harm than good. My friends are the "OMG it Has rocket launchers in, i must buy it!" type of people. It's a shame really.

i always see about 5 preowned copies of Shenmue II - xbox at my local video game store selling at $17.99.

i've never ever seen SII dreamcast except for 1 time when they had 1 copy left, it was gone the next day.

And i havn't seen SI in the store since about a year and a quarter ago.
