Shenmue II still profitable? Wal-Mart thinks so...

I was walking around Wal-Mart today and I noticed that they still have Shenmue II copies selling on the top shelf. This is good news. That means the game is still selling and they are still making money off of the product. I guess Shenmue II sales arent as bad as we are told to believe.

Yeah different places have a different sales rates. Shenmue 2 for xbox sells quite good on gameplay.co.uk too.

I rarely see it anywhere. I've only seen it at Toys R Us, but what's cool is they still have an old advertisement poster hanging above the R Zone. It must have been up there for ages, I'm glad they didnt take it down.

It's dirt cheap in the UK now. About £17.99 - £19.99 but you don't see it in shops anymore unless they are game retailers specifically. People need to realise what a bargain that is...also I think that if they had released the first game on the Xbox before the sequal I think it would have done a lot better.

There is local store where I live called SHOPKO it's like target they never have halo (I mean they don't even stock it) but shenmue II is always there and usually 2-3 copies left...maybe that is because it sells for 17$....

And uh... As usual, the stores in this town doesn't have it. Either they sold it all, or threw it all away. Maybe they sold it all but never ordered more because they are incompetent?
Which is the reason I think I will just buy games online for now.

This is where I work now in the electronics depo and Shenmue II is still sold there...haha
Now when people ask for a good Xbox game I shall sell them Shenmue II.

Well, ive seen alot of copies at Fry's electronics, selling for 20 bucks. Hopefully its selling.
