Jesus stop this Morpheus talk. Its exciting me far too much!!

Its what I always wanted Shenmue to be. To actually be in Doboutia, and when I look around 360° I can see all around of me in first person! That's beyond a dream!

But either way, announcement or no announcement, this is a pretty big day for Shenmue. Its got a feeling about it. A buzz. It feels great!

I can't say that I would want it to be VR, but at this point VR would be fine with me. It could be the type of game that lends itself well to VR. Like you said being able to look around Dobuita. And can you imagine Kowloon? It may not be pretty but it would look awesome. I envision the environment part being pretty cool, but I don't know about the combat. Baihu was hard enough using buttons and a traditional view.

Screw any gimmicks just give the game like it always was if it ever happens.

Be interesting to see if Yu gives any story details on what would have happened in later games. Remember him saying that Ryo wouldn't want revenge anymore.

Another thing to possibly expect is if there is an announcement of some sorts but it gets lost in translation. For example, Cerny says Suzuki has an announcement to make, and Suzuki says, "yes, I announce I am hoping to release Shenmue City on phone".

That will be months of no news, followed by eness theories and opinions by what he meant. Is he releasing it? Working on it? Who is publishing it? Is it also for Europe? What phone or platform is it on.....

Ugh god, I don't think I would want to hear something like that

If Yu Suzuki don't announce anything I hope he can talk more about Shenmue III. It would be nice if they show footage of things that were cut in the game.

Logging in for the first time in quite a while. I'm very thrilled about this event. Even if we don't get an announcement of some sort (which I certainly hope we do!), it should be a very interesting talk about the 2 games that we know and love already.

I've held off on my annual Shenmue playthrough in case Shenmue HD were to be announced at this. If so, yay! If not, I will be busting out my Dreamcast over the weekend and playing Shenmue for the entire day.
