I just finished watching the interview and yeah I agree it turned out to be a good interview. I like how you asked about a possible re-release towards the end of the video. Thanks for crediting the dojo!

Thank you so much for everything you've done.
And don't be sorry for your accent and prononciation, it's better than a lot of guys who would consider themselves fluent in english.
It's a really good news to know that Suzuki-san is in fact pretty happy that people are still asking him "what about Shenmue 3" ?
And his last answer is simply awesome. As I understood it, it simply means "Yes there is going to be a HD remake of Shenmue, but I cannot tell you about it for the moment".

If I can add something, I've had the pleasure to go to Japan this summer, and the huge honor to share some meals with some pretty famous game developers. One of them has been working on Shenmue 1, and was sitting just next to me. After some beers, I've asked him if he would know something about a new Shenmue, he told me that in his mind, something would happend around next summer.

El_clown. You can place annotations at any point of the youtube video. So you can add a short message about the signed copy of Shenmue ,or add further details excluded about the hd remake question.

Topic being moved to news.

Original OP:

Hi!I am going to the TGS-Toulouse for the web http://www.videoxoc.com. It's in Spanish and it's yet on beta-mode, TGS-Toulouse will be our first big coverage (we attended the Tokyo Game Show too, but couldn't upload any videos until two days after the show had closed) and we will upload the two Yu-Suzuki conferences with English and Spanish subtitles. I am going to try and upload them by November 28th (I'll work on the English subtitles first since I understand that Shenmue fans around the globe will be eager to watch them, hell! if I wasn't going I'd be dying to watch it online!), but as soon as the first conference ends (November 26th) I'll make a teaser with some highlights to be uploaded that same night. At least if there's any BIG NEWS, you'll be able to see them as soon as possible.

Also (still in the works) I am setting up an interview with Suzuki for a Yu Suzuki special we are planning to do for January (for the official opening of videoxoc.com). If the interview is somewhat interesting out of the context of the special, I will also upload it with English and Spanish subtitles by the first week of December.

So if any of you guys, want to submit any questions, I'd gladly see if they fit in the interview!

The interview is up and ready!

ENGLISH VERSION: http://www.videoxoc.com/noticias/item/6 ... -show-2011

VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL: http://www.videoxoc.com/reportajes/item ... pa%C3%B1ol

All in all it's not the interview I wanted, but it's worth a watch. Also, we are giving away a copy of the Japanese version of Shenmue Chapter I Yokosuka, signed by the one and only Yu Suzuki, in order to enter the contest you hace to go to the article in videoxoc.com and comment (you need to register first). No restriction of age or country, the only thing we need to know in your comment is: Why do you think that Shenmue is the best (or one of the best) game ever? You can tell stories, personal anectotes, anything! As long as you share your love for Shenmue with us, you have until December the 29th 2011!

Thanks for the upload el-clown, good job =D> People forget [including me!] that most racing games before Daytona & Virtua Racing, just had one camera angle.... then we were introduced to FOUR, wow! Now the standard. It also reminded me how it felt to play an arcade racer with 2 gears, felt like a simulation back then!

Just had time to watch the first part but will be making time tonight to study it in full.

I went to TGS the last week-end

it was hard to see him the whole day if you weren't VIP

i met him during the conference and shake his hand 3 times

it was unreal to see him for real

a really exciting moment in my life

he signed my copies of the shenmue saga

i took some pictures of him and Harada San at he end of the show

i lived an amazing experience and i keep very good souvenirs of this time

Unfortunately he doesn't acknowledge Sword of Vermilion as his. So before the interview started I was told by the translator not to ask a single thing about Sword of Vermilion. Sorry, but the mistery will go on!
