They're too small and can more easily dodge weapons, putting them at an advantage. Also, modellers need space to store whatever the vehicle may need for its transformations.

They seemed to be ok putting him on a motorcycle in the previous games and they head weapons. They can magically make it turn into whatever they want. Don't see the prob.

Shenmue is on no ones priority list of money makers. I'd take what I can get as beggars can't be choosers. Ryo riding a dildo or toothbrush. At least he'd be in. Don't get why so concerned with continuity when the rest of the characters in the game are not.

Should probably explain this more:

Almost everyone I know agreed that bikes were OP because they could also do wheelies in straightaways, something cars couldn't. For size, they made a "footprint" to help make track design easier, so no car can be too small/big(notice how BD Joe's cab is a one-seater now) There's also been a new physics engine which pretty much affects everything, so there was that. They've also had some new staff; Remember Gareth Wilson from PGR and Blur? He was the design director for Transformed, and a few staff from his old studio came too, so there's been some new ideas.

It's why I posted the whole "arcade cabinet vs forklift" argument; the people on the forums came up with that, and I was doin a little focus testing to help bring it to an end. Seems you guys don't really care so long as Ryo gets in though. XD

For flight he should use the duck from the races in SII. Heck, even for water.

Ducks are cool - they can travel by land, air, or water. Although, if Ryo makes it into this game after all this, only to ride a duck...I'm not sure how I'd feel about that.
