This game gives a good chance to see again the old characters from SEGA made with in new gen graphics.

I'm curious , are the other shenmue fan-sites doing the same amount of promotion? How do we only have 271 signed, when theres shenmue uk, the dojo, french site shenue master etc, ? gotta get this thing goin

Hazuki Dojo but most of them are SD members and it's a ghost town. Handful of them won't post at SD anymore so I can post something I guess.

Team Yu and Shenmue 500K are backing this, and numbers should pick up a little when the handler of the latter's Twitter account gets online after a few days AWOL. We have until the end of the month, so everyone needs to spread the word around various gaming forums - not all Shenmue fans participate in dedicated communities like this, but are more than happy to do their bit when they're made aware of specific events.

Without any policing from the SUMO or SEGA crew, if you can all agree on three characters by the 1st of December and prove there is sufficient interest of at least 1000 unique people *per* character, I will present the result to SEGA. Let's see if you can organise yourselves in the next few weeks to pull that off!
My sole hints, first you probably need to define some rules, then agree on who will police them, and then run it fairly (no cheating) and deliver something professional and credible I'd be able to use. You are on your own for the rest

Though, as you may remember S0L posts there, and they have an active SASRT thread there, so it may be worth my while to post a lil something (and thus further reinforce my rep there as an 'ardcore Shenmue soldier
