He has one of the best private collections of Dreamcast stuff. Some stuff he has no one else has and can't get it's so rare.

Nice one.

What would be great is if, say, Kiyuu could work with you to translate everybody who was on stage, so that we have an English transcription of what Yu said (in Japanese) AND what his interpreter said (in French and Japanese), allowing any differences to be seen.

Thank you for the video. Now that I can hear the Q&A part clearly, I've fixed the inaudible part in my translation.

Can you please add time stamps to the duration of each Shenmue question.

Time stamp example: Shenmue question 1 (8:40-9:00)
Japanese Translator: blablablabla (translation)
Yu Suzuki: blablablabla (translation)

Time stamp example: Shenmue question 2 (18:22-19:55)
Japanese Translator: blablablabla (translation)
Yu Suzuki: blablablabla (translation)

I can edit those parts together into a single video. Once together I can add English subtitles to each question, from original interviewer to the translator, and lastly Yu Suzuki.

If we go by the Kikizo article on Shenmue 3 ready for next-gen back in 2005 then SEGA did had plans on releasing Shenmue 3. SEGA was planning to use the profit they made from Shenmue online to fund Shenmue 3 but because it didn't go as they planned and Shenmue online was canceled it also affected the release of Shenmue 3. That's my theory.

Nice, thanks. So, the inaudible part was where he said "if we find the right partners"? I guess he's still looking to bring some other outside party on board then, perhapes to work in partnership with Sega, kinda like that time Sega called for someone like Sony or Microsoft to get involved and invest in order to make S3 a reality. That seems the most likely situation to me. It's a shame Sega won't consider letting the fans supplement that outside investment through something like Kickstarter. Because I'd guess that with the current financial hardships that almost every big company in the industry seems to be facing (not to mention the anxious focus the "big three" will be putting into their new hardware), I can sort of see that convincing one of them to help Sega bail out it's much loved but ill fated unfinished classic, would be a hard sell. I sort of still hold out a hope of somehow touching Iwata's heart one day and convincing him to take up the mantle, but then, I also suspect he's a much more cut throat businessman than the image he puts across.
