Consoles have not been ruled out, according to S0L on the official forums.

I knew they would release the DLC all of a sudden, without any announcements... Now I need the PC version quick.
No download for me though, I'll get the limited edition for my Sonic collection even if that way it will take longer until I can race with Ryo "for real". At least I already got to take him for a spin on my phone.

Hope it comes to consoles soon 99p is very well priced for Ryo

I could be seeing things, but it looks like the arcade screens are indeed animated, which answers a minor criticism that arose from the leaked footage. They've done a really good job.

I can assure you that the screen is indeed animated. Even in the Android version it's anything but static and the game on the display moves quite smooth. It acutally manages to give a bit of the impression that you can actually see the road ahead of you.

I love it!

Who owns the rights to shenmue? Because they won't allow for number three but they must be allowing sumo digital to use the Ryo character? So somewhere along the line they allowed it.
