Looking forward to this but not expecting any announcement. This is a developer conference not a consumer show after all.

Shenmue could make a great tech demo for Morpheus though.

Long time lurker here , finally got my self to register !

Man , I've been following news on shenmue for a long time. Always waiting and searching for some kind of glimpse of what's going to happen in the future with the series. Our dreams have been crushed a quite a few times , especially that time when that Sega dude threw that comment about the HD releases....oh god why.

I Remember my first experience of shenmue was when i was at my cousins place with my second cousin. He had gotten an xbox which was modded. He had ton of games for it but there was something particularly interesting in shenmue 2. It was so different of all games I've seen until that day and it hooked all of us. Shenmue was pretty much the only game we played when i was there. It was awesome just to watch it to be played....ohhh the memories. It's been about 13 years now!

I'm really looking forward to the postmortem and I try to keep over hyping myself up , but it's hard! I really think we will not get any kind of announcement today , maybe a wink of some sort to E3 or something like that. Still , there is a small desperate hope in me I'd be super excited if we would even get a HD releases , i might even shed a manly tear for it Still , if nothing comes up , i'll still not lose hope , it's been this long already so a few years ain't nothing!

Jesus stop this Morpheus talk. Its exciting me far too much!!

Its what I always wanted Shenmue to be. To actually be in Doboutia, and when I look around 360° I can see all around of me in first person! That's beyond a dream!

But either way, announcement or no announcement, this is a pretty big day for Shenmue. Its got a feeling about it. A buzz. It feels great!

Even if they just ended it on "expect something Shenmue related later in the year...", no matter what it could be, that's more than we could ask.

Someone really needs to just interrupt the panel at the very beginning and ask them to get to the point and tell us if we're getting a conclusion or not. Then if they say yes apologize profusely and allow them to finish the panel. If they say no.......apologize profusely and allow them to finish the panel and then...

Signed up to the dojo for the occasion, longtime Shenmue fan since launch day, lost count of the years waiting for this series to continue, feels like yesterday I got home from school excited as hell to play the game I had been waiting so long for. Today a similar feeling is inside of me hoping for some kind of an announcement, but with fear this time, at least give us a HD remaster.....7hrs 35mins to go....

I doubt they will have the recording available right away though. Usually for TGS and E3 streams it takes them awhile before you can watch it again after the fact. Id say it'll take them like 5-6 hours maybe till they get to uploading it.

I finish classes right at 4 so ill be getting home and cutting it pretty close. Looking forward to it!
