Very interesting how Suzuki confirmed that in the original game (Virtua fighter Rpg) Ryo defeats Lan Di yet his journey still continues. Especially since he confirmed in a recent interview that Ryo's desire for revenge dissipates.

Lan Di could be defeat a lot earlier than we expect and Ryo's goal may completely change if the original concept for the game is anything to go by.

The most story related information we got was a broad series arc and some concept art. Nice talk, though.

I think most expected Lan Di to have a boss(my guess the man in the project berkley video). My issue with the fight happening early is that so far Ryo doesn't look capable of beating Lan Di.

^i swear, after Inafune, i hope Iga announces a kickstarter for his new startup & Suzuki thinks about following suit...we all want shnemue 3 but even if he can't, id just like the man doing whatever kinda game he wants right now. tragic that he's not allowed that.
