No idea. If i had to guess, its probably due to all the Shenmue hype talk/ expected announcement. It got turned into a hype thread rather than a discussion about all the trademarks that had been registered. Then again, what do they expect? If you put Shenmue news along side any other franchise, the Shenmue hype will easily overtake everything.

I think it was the hype train. It was a bit out of control. Still no shenmue.com. At this point if it had been the victim of attack it would be back up. That's a positive. I think if Shenmue will be continued in some form they took down shenmue-online.com to prevent confusion. When was shenmue-online.com last online?

Someone has GOT to get on board with Shenmue soon - it just feels like it's soon going to be impossible not too.

I find it amazing how the person that left that tweet works for Sega of America. If he's asking for Shenmue from Sony, then i can only assume that SOA know nothing about the series coming back. Are they that disconnected from their Japanese office, or is this a sign that nothing is in the works?
