According to a french site (jeuxactu.com), Shenmue 3 will be announced by Sony on PS4 and will be developed by Quantic Dreams. (I hope the latter is not true, I hate the idea)

hmmm, every article on that site is lucky to have even 1 comment, while from a mechanical standpoint quantic dreams would make sense, it just seems like an unlikely partnership for Shenmue. Its reeks of fake click-bait, especially considering its a fench site with little to no viewer base saying a french company (who is small and already making another game) is going to help Suzuki develop Shenmue.... fake, fake with a creamy sugary topping a fake.

hi i think new shenmue is going to be in wii u . because look at yu Suzuki profile picture it is a mii so i think there is little hope on shenmue in wii u , and is it a copyright for him to put a picture of a mii?

I highly doubt it would be on WiiU. I couldn't see enough of a market being there. Also, I don't think its a copyright issue. He isn't advertising or selling anything.

Let's have a safe and exciting E3, if any Shenmue news is announced I look forward to celebrating it with our community!

There is a little hype, but this year is pretty big with hoaxes even helping put the word Shenmue on people's lips. Gaming publications have started to include Shenmue in their wish lists and predictions.

The pic Yu put on twitter, and his reemerge on twitter in general could be a sign. I mean a random picture of a forklift?? That only relates to one thing in Yus life. I'm pretty sure the guy doesn't have a fetish for lifting machinery so what exactly is going on. We have Gio Corsi, who has a Shenmue forklift on his office desk no less, be a big Shenmue fan and seemingly trying to have a Shenmue game produced for PS.

This year is a bit more active.

The disturbing point is that the article is not about a rumor, the journalist seems highly confident and gambles his credibility.
About the site as itself, I don't know pretty much about them, apart their paper magazine (I own a free issue with Virtua Fighter 5 on the cover).

And what the fuck is going on tonight specifically. The community has exploded now because someone at NeoGAF has found out that the Shenmue.com domain is now hosted by Amazon, for the reasons that highly active websites need a more sable server? That whoever owns the domain now expects some serious traffic? It was done on June 2nd.

What the frack is going on? Is this for real could this actually be happening?
