Technical Issues

This has been going on for a couple days for me. It has happened so many times today alone. It goes down for 2-3 min to over 15 min each time. It's not my internet.

Blame Bluehost's ridiculous downtimes. It's happened to Biohaze too. I guess both sites are too big for their current shared-server status...

I realise this is primarily a Shenmue forum but possibly too many redundant sub-forums?

Shenmue I, Shenmue II, Misc Shenmue Games (III, Online, Gai, HD) and Shenmue Modding Projects.

The Cast forum could be returned to a sticky in S1 and 2.

Any good?

That's all that's needed, really. And maybe have an "Alternative Websites" sticky to avoid the whole "advertising thing", so that they're just one-post links n shit instead of bein flat-out "I've made a topic so everyone comes to my website".

Yeah just need maybe a Shenmue Forum with the modding one separate or as a sub forum.
All the general sub forums could be stuck together.
Almost every game now is multiplatform so sub forums are a bit weird.

I swear we have a Junk forum now but I cannot see it at all. I cannot see it on the board index at all, mods have I been banned from it ?

You need to active Junk Access through the control panel to see it..

the links are fine, but they won't load on the dojo when using spoilers, doesn't happen all the time so it's not really a problem for me
don't know about Neo but i'm using firefox.

IE 8 for me... I have no idea how I didn't find this until now. Due to computer permissions I can't install anything (different brower or updates) so unless it's something I can change in Internet Options, I'm stuck.

Are you using a Guest account on your OS?

No, there's one admin account, then the "family" user account. Probably works like a guest account...

Either that or you have set permissions from the Admin account. If your family is paranoid about security and such you should mention being lax on any kind of update whether it be browser updates or firewall patches, is a bigger threat than not letting you browse the Dojo

Strange thing is, they had me set up the anti-virus etc before consigning me to the user account by changing the password without telling me. Worst thing is, they don't even use the computer now they have their own in their rooms so I'm stuck with an 8+ year old system that I can't update. The only plus is that I've just been given an old laptop to use but have to make that ship-shape. I need to make a thread on that here actually...
