Will Shenmue City be added to the games section?

Depends how you mean. Will it be added to the Shenmue section with it's own forum? Doubt it. If you mean the general games section then I'd of thought so.

This is the first I have heard of it. And I must say, I had no reaction at all upon hearing about it and looking it up, just a big meh, as everyone else presumably.

In due time, closer to release when we have more solid information, yes.

As for a new forum, perhaps. There is no reason not to. In fact, for the few that get their hands on it, their impressions and captures will likely be the only way others get to see it for themselves. So the section may prove to be useful.

It's not even out yet and as it sounds it will prolly be less of a "game" by classic terms, prolly more somewhat a boosted up chat room for cell phones. But let's wait until its out or at least a screenshot is available.

Yeah, however a capture from a cell phone app is sadly more news worthy than anything else going on with this series atm.

I thought it was only going to be released in Japan? On a majorally Western Shenmue site, would it not be more suited to a "Shenmue Related Projects" forum?

In the end it really doesn't matter one way or another. It's still a game to bare the series name and one of four to ever release, counting What's Shenmue. A related projects subforum sounds nice, however there aren't any other officially related projects going around so it would make even less sense.

BTW since I have you for a second, what ever happened to that podcast? Seemed like a good idea, never received the sample you and Alex were doing?

Id like a Shenmue Town sub-forum to be created eventually too. As time goes on im sure its going to be a necessity.
If a member would want to create a related topic about it these days, I think its ok to just put in the Shenmue 1 forum or the mega News thread for now. Hopefully we can have an excuse enough to create the sub forum soon. Hell if we did it now that would be fine too.
